Ponder Print
This is a Standard Edition Print of “Ponder”, a completed piece on canvas that is proudly displayed in my mother’s dining room.
This reproduction measures 18″ x 18″, and is printed on Hahnemühle Torchon FineArt paper (285gsm).
“Ponder” found its beginnings in the popularity of the “B-Series”. My mother was delighted by the natural calmness the green colors evoked. I decided to make her a piece with a similar feel. To keep things exciting I introduced newly acquired techniques such as using iridescent paints to add new layers. My love for extra-vibrant colors could not be abandoned, so the final bright green layer required eight passes to reach its vibrancy. A painting that started out as a pond and concluded as an inspiration to ponder.
