Brain Corruption Original
Brain Corruption
Striving to spark a conversation about the tobacco moment of social media, “Brain Corruption” explores different techniques to convey that alteration. The subject smoking a social media cube was collaged and painted onto the canvas as the very first step. The task then became to bring this layer and its colors almost all the way to the front while adding gradients and geometric shapes around it. This unconventional and challenging separation was meant to confuse and convey the corruption that influences our perception of what is real and what is not.
Social media is and will remain a part of society, it is important that we don’t lose sight of what is real and what is not.
Dimensions: 60″ x 36″
Medium: Acrylics and Mixed Medium
