New “74” Prints Available

Earlier this year I was tasked with creating a large canvas to commemorate the Seattle Sounders’ 50 Year Anniversary. The angles of the numbers 7 and 4 were a perfect starting point. Alongside the vibrant new team colors, this gave me plenty of direction.

To add depth and highlight a professional sports team’s journey through ups and downs, I decided to make my geometric lines and shapes run over edges onto higher or lower layers. This new technique makes the process a whole lot more intricate. Every shape now needs to be separated into multiple layers and painted separately to achieve this effect.

I’m excited to finally make prints of “74” available to the public. It turned out to be a really nice piece, and printed on Hahnemühle Torchon FineArt paper (285gsm) makes this a great addition to anyone’s collection.
